It is finally here… the time we have all been waiting for!! END OF THE SEMESTER!! We have almost finished our first semester of this academic year, and we all should be so proud of all that we have accomplished. But with that being said it is now time to stop and really start preparing for those awesome things we call finals!!
Stress if you have not already started to feel it will soon take over when the weeks continue. Stressing about moving home, stressing about finals, stressing about your grades, stressing about friends at home, stressing about leaving your friends here, stressing about family and many more stressors are going to start to happen. Well I am here to tell you some ways to deal with that stress.
Here are a few helpful ways to deal with your stress:
- Rearrange your room- a new atmosphere will take away some stress
- Enjoy the outdoors- it’s cold out so bundle up!!
- Breathe and stretch
- Take breaks when you are studying
- Express your emotions and talk to others
- Play with an animal- if you live on campus I promise you can find one walking around outside!
- Watch a funny movie
- Take a yoga class
- Write in a journal
- Take a long shower
I have attached the group exercise classes at the Gassett Fitness Center. I suggest a yoga class you will leave feeling so much better and less stressed!! Good luck with finals and stay stress free!!
