I don’t know what to do with my major…

I’ve recently started to look for fieldwork in my major. I think this is the best way to figure out if your major is right for you. Trying to find an internship can be a stressful and confusing process. This comes down to if you are looking for a paid internship or not, or maybe you just want to get yourself into the field to make sure you are following the right path or not, there are always tools to help with this process. The first thing I would do would be to g9 see career services. They have plenty of people there to help figure out what you want to do with your major. There is also a tool on your navigator that can lead you to the career services page. When you sign on to navigator, click the full menu tab. Then, click on campus life and find career services. On your navigator there is an account for you to build a resume, look for jobs and find internships. You would have to make an account but this is a great way to find jobs and other opportunities that Salem State is providing for their students. Also, career services can help with preparing your for interviews, helping with cover letters, and other important job essentials to stand out in an interview. They are there to help lighten the process and answer any questions you have about your major or internships. You can brose their web page to find out more information or to set up an appointment at: https://www.salemstate.edu/1767.php
