The Grapes of Wrath

Looking for something to do when you return from Thanksgiving break? Thursday, December 3, is the opening night of the theatre department’s production of The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck, adapted by Frank Galati.

Directed by Peter Sampieri and performed by a cast of 24 actors and musicians alongside a backstage crew, this play tells the epic story of the Joad family’s migration across America during the Great Depression.

Performances are as follows in the Callan Theatre, located in the basement of the Administration Building:
December 3-5, 7:30 pm.
December 6, 2:00 pm.
December 10-12, 7:30 pm.
December 13, 2:00 pm.

The show is FREE for all Salem State students, so long as you bring your clippercard to the box office the night of the show you wish to attend! Otherwise, tickets are $15 general and $10 for non-Salem State students and seniors.
