With the temperature changes, random snow storms, and living on campus, many Vikings have experienced the common cold (including myself as I am writing this).
Counseling and Health Services can help figure out what exactly you have, do a physical, or answer any questions or concerns you may have. By using the Health Services Portal, you can schedule an appointment in a few easy steps! Just a note: you cannot schedule counseling appointment through this method…you must call ahead or go to the office located in Ellison Campus Center!
Step 1: Log in to your Navigator account!
Step 2: Under “Quick Links”, click on “Health Services Portal”!
Step 3: To the right of the “Quick Links” menu, you will see this screen. Click on “click here” and a second tab will open!
Step 4: When you see this screen, put in your Navigator account information and click “Proceed”.
Step 5: On the left hand side, there is a menu. Click on “Appointments”!
Step 6: Next, click on “Schedule an Appointment”!
Step 7: Click on one of the following options you need, then click “Continue”. For this example I am choosing the second option: “Routine health services appointment-not urgent”.
Step 8: You will come cross this screen, and then click “Continue”.
Step 9: On the dropdown menu, you will find multiple options to cite why you require an appointment!
For this example, I will choose “Cold Symptoms”.
Step 10: Next, you will be required to put in your phone number, then click “Continue”.
Step 11: You will find pages of available appointments, where you can choose at your discretion when you are available!
If none of these work, you can click “More Dates” to retrieve more options! If one does work, click on that option then “Continue”.
Step 12: Next you will see a confirmation screen to book your appointment. If this works for you, click “Book”! If not, click “Retry” to choose from more dates. If you change your mind about making the appointment, click “Cancel”!
Step 13: You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire! When you are finished, click “Submit Final”.
Step 14: After your questionnaire, you will see a second screen reviewing the information that you just entered in! Click “Proceed”, then you will be brought back to the appointments homepage! This will show you the appointment you just booked listed there!
The staff in Counseling and Health Services are amazing, and I really recommend that if you need to go, definitely schedule an appointment! You can use this method, or call ahead if it is urgent! In the meantime, if you have the common cold like myself, get plenty of rest!
