I hope you have all settled into your classes and routine for the semester. As you can tell, Salem has entered the heart of winter. Trees wear lovely white gowns, my yellow car-yes, it’s very yellow-is now covered in white, and footprints on the ground show a busy day for Salem State. Simply put, snow is everywhere. Snow is great for snowball fights, building snowmen, making snow angels, sledding, and more! If you love the snow, there is a great event coming up! And if you don’t like snow, maybe this will change your mind!
Salem State is bringing students to Amesbury Sports Park (New England Sports Park 12 South Hunt Rd, Amesbury, MA 01913) for snow tubing! Woohoo! The event is on Saturday, February 10th, 2018 from 10:30AM-3:30PM. Transportation is provided; the bus departs from behind Ellison Campus Center (North Campus) promptly at 11AM and will return to campus around 3:30PM. Snow tubing time is from 12PM-2PM.
You can buy your ticket at the Information Desk in Ellison for $10. *There are a limited number of seats on the bus, so please buy your tickets asap!*
For further questions, you can contact Taylor Herold who works in the office of Student Involvement and Activities at firstname.lastname@example.org or 978-542-2874.
