A Little Bit About: At Howling Wolf, you will find some of the BEST Mexican food in Salem! Howling Wolf is also a “scratch kitchen” meaning that all of their food is made from scratch or home made! Also, if you order a minimum amount of $20 worth of food, they will even deliver your food right to campus!

A Little Bit About: At Gulu-Gulu  Cafe, they serve some of the best coffee in town, paired with some great food. Some of the meals that they offer are Crepes, Wraps, Sandwich’s, Salads, and really delicious Mac and Cheese. On the weekends, they also have a brunch menu!

3. Flying Saucer Pizza

A Little Bit About: At the Flying Saucer, all of the ingredients used are fresh and local. The chef’s here take your ordinary pizza, and elevate it for a whole new experience! Many of the pizza’s they make will blow your mind, and they always have special pizzas for the day. A fun fact about Flying Saucer is that they even have their own graphic novel series, The Adventures of Charlie the Space Pug! For any of you graphic novel fans, definitely take a look!

A Little Bit About: Life Alive has been one of my favorite places to eat since before I even started school at Salem State. They have 3 locations in Salem, Lowell, and Cambridge, Ma and have some of the best vegetarian/vegan food I have ever eaten! You do not have to be a vegetarian or vegan to eat here but if you love vegetables or amazing smoothies its a must go food destination!

A Little Bit About:  If you love an amazing burger, this is the place to go! Salem Beer Works takes your classic burgers, and makes them with fresh, gourmet ingredients. I personally have eaten here many times and would 10/10 recommend this restaurant to any burger-lover like myself! Also if you’re 21+, they brew their own beers and have a huge selection to choose from! If you are NOT 21+ no need to fear, you can still enjoy the delicious food they have to offer!
